LMNA-PRIORITY Consortium Unites in North Carolina for Second In-Person Meeting

Nov 12, 2025 | News

From 3-5 November the members of the PRIORITY consortium gathered in North Carolina for the second in-person consortium meeting! Thanks to Andrew Landstrom and his team who welcomed us at their facilities in Durham.

During these three days the consortium members from different universities across the US and Europe got to meet offline for the second time. During the extensive scientific sessions on Monday and Tuesday, we heard all about ongoing research activities within the different aims of the project. The discussions and conversations on the topics covered were beneficial and they continued over the breaks and during dinner. During the poster session our Early Career Investigators (ECIs) told us about their research project. On Wednesday we awarded the two best posters, congratulations to Zanetta Kechagia and Julie Heffler on winning this award!

These offline meetings provide a perfect opportunity to get to know each other better and to learn funfacts about the PIs.

We look back at three fruitful days and we are looking forward to meet again in May for our third consortium meeting. Until then we meet online during our monthly sessions and on our Slack channel.
